On November 19, the transmission inspection personnel of the power supply company used unmanned aerial vehicles to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the tower body in winter to investigate the hidden dangers of the defects of the line body and ensure the safe and stable operation of the transmission line during the peak load period in winter.
As the weather turns cold, the load keeps rising, and the windy weather increases, the hidden danger of defects in the tower body of the transmission line begins to be exposed. In order to grasp the health status of the tower body in time and avoid the accumulation of defects and hidden dangers, the power supply company organized the UAV flight team to carry out the UAV inspection of the tower body in winter, from the tower foundation to overhead earth wire, conduct a three-dimensional all-round physical examination for the line.
The members of the UAV flight team rely on the accumulated flight experience and skilled flight technology for a long time to conduct all-round, 360-degree inspection and close shooting on the key parts and ancillary facilities of the tower. During the inspection, the UAV flight team members adjust the shooting angle, sensitivity, exposure compensation, and so on in real time according to the position of tower components, the direction of sunlight exposure, intensity, etc. while keeping the UAV flight stable, color balance, etc., to ensure that the photos are clear and high quality, and accurately reflect the health status of the tower. Strengthen the analysis and management of UAV photo defects, and continuously improve the lean intelligent inspection level of transmission lines.
