According to reports, the two-tailed scorpion UAV flying this mission has a wingspan of 20 meters, a maximum flight time of 35 hours, a maximum range of 7500 kilometers, a maximum take-off weight of 2.8 tons and a maximum of maximum flight height of 9500 meters. During this round of fire inspection, the double-tailed scorpion unmanned aerial vehicle flew continuously through the clouds along the western Sichuan section of the death route-hump route to Yunnan, crossing Hengduan Mountain areas such as Qionglai Mountains, Great Snow Mountain, Jinsha River Canyon, etc, through the complex inland alpine airflow zones in western Sichuan and Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the continuous wind force in the air is nearly 16 (the maximum wind speed is 51 m/s) accompanied by rainfall weather. After completing the mission, the UAV returned to Zigong Fengming tonghang airport with extremely low visibility at night. Under unfavorable conditions such as no night flight equipment at the airport and short runway, the UAV implemented blind descent and landed safely, it fully verifies the all-weather deployment capability of the aircraft in harsh environments.
